Hello
My name's Peri and I'm a copywriter. Over the last 20 years, I’ve tackled everything from print, radio and ambient, to websites, blogs and social media. I’ve also worked with all kinds of clients: private, public and third sector. If you'd like to know more about me, here's my CV in a nutshell.
2007 to present: La vie freelance
Went freelance and moved to France. Began working with a number of lovely UK-based agencies (and the odd French one, too). I'm glad to say these links have blossomed into long-standing relationships. Thanks to these agencies, I've worked with all kinds of clients, from Waitrose, Clarks and O2, to the Met Police, Arriva and numerous councils. I work from home remotely, using Teams, Zoom, Slack and other clever digital tools. God bless the internet.
From 2007 to 2024, I was also part of the (remote) sub-editing team at Intelligent Media, a media monitoring service that provides big name clients with daily digital news summaries.
1999-2007: Agency land
Hired as a graduate, I joined a boutique agency as a junior copywriter. I learned from the best and cut my teeth on accounts including Debenhams, Selfridges, Orange, Blockbuster and Costa Coffee. In 2004, I moved to a larger agency, and got the chance to work a greater range of clients, including Cancer Research UK, the Civil Service Fast Stream, McDonald's and Microsoft. Won pitches for the likes of wagamama, Historic Royal Palaces and The Big Lottery Fund. Managed the odd award too.
1999 BC (Before Copywriting) and earlier:
BA (Hons) English Literature and an MA in American Studies.
